Setting up your account

It only takes a couple of minutes to set-up your FREE account. Simply click on the 'Register' link and fill in the required information:

  • Enter your name and contact details
  • Enter your date of birth - this is required to verify that you are over 18 and also allows us to send you tailored birthday promotions from the restaurants
  • Enter your email address and set-up your email preferences
  • Confirm that you understand and accept the User Agreement and that you are over 18 years of age
  • Select a username and password
  • Select your default area - setting this allows restaurants near your area to be shown on the home page
  • Upload your picture and write a brief description of yourself
  • Fill any other information and complete your registration

Logging in

Logging into priceyourmeal

Every priceyourmeal user has their own personalised account. For your own security, please ensure that you do not share your login details with anyone else as your account contains your personal details.

To log into your account, enter your username and password in to box at the top of the screen. This box is available on all pages throughout the site. If you try to access a part of the site that requires you to be logged in, you will be sent to the login page where you must enter your username and password to proceed. If you have not yet registered, you will also be given the option of doing so.

Re-setting your password or changing username

Due to the high level of encryption all passwords, it is not possible to retrieve your existing password. Instead, you can re-set your password and change it once you have logged in. To re-set your password:

  • Navigate to the login page and click on the 'Forgotten your password' link on the login box
  • Enter your username and email address and click on the continue button. your new login details will be sent via email.
  • Once you have re-set your password, you should log into your account and change your password to something more memorable

Your username cannot be changed by you on the site. instead, navigate to the login page and click on the 'Forgotten your password' link. In the 'Retrieve Username' box, click on the link to request your change of username and follow the instructions.

Account Profile

This page shows you a summary of your personal details and your recent activity on the site. You can edit your details from this page by clicking on the 'Edit Profile' button.

Bids, Wins and Vouchers

From this page, you can view the auctions you are currently bidding in, pay for any auctions you have won and also access vouchers for any auctions you have completed payment for.

Bookings

The bookings page allows you to manage any online bookings you have made. You can view responses you have received from any restaurants and also change or cancel any bookings you can't attend.

Reviews

You can access all your restaurant reviews form this page. Any pending reviews can also be accessed and reviewed from here.

Events

If you are planning any events, you can access the details from this section. You can check the status of any events you are planning and also vote on any events you have been invited to.

Bookmarks

Bookmarks are great if you want to access the auctions or details for any particular restaurant instantly. You can also bookmark other user profiles or any reviews that you find useful.

Friends

We encourage our users to communicate with each other and you can use this page to add new friends to your account.

Inbox

This page is used to send messages, or to communicate with your friends.
