Popped in with husband David after being up on the Glasgow Eye(Wheel) that has been introduced to George Square for the Winter /Christmas Season. It was brilliant. Came in here as it is close proximity to the square but is also a fixed favourite for me. I had taken the deal for the burgers plus drink each. I am veggie and as it was so busy, was unable to get them to do me any alternative. I just took the burger anyway and enjoyed the delicious chips, relish and side salad. David therefore enjoyed two bumper burgers which he says were the best he ever tasted. Thanks to all as it was absolutely bursting at the seams in this establishment today. Probably people sheltering from the nightmare weather! We will of course be back soon. Xx |

Gifted to pal Ruby for her birthday and she went along today with friend Lindsay. They both absolutely loved it here and felt like a pair of toffs! Both appreciated the lovely relaxed atmosphere and excellent service by Michael as well as the delicious food! Thanks guys as everyone I have ever given this deal to, always really enjoys the experience! Will certainly be back! Janice. XX |

Went with mum after having fish pedicure on Friday 27 May. It was a relief to be back to earth as I think I left my stomach in the fish tank! It was nauseating. Urban Brasserie was very busy around 3pm and Alistair and the rest of the staff looked after us both very well. Mum had the famous Urban Burger and delicious chips. I managed to get a fabulous sweet potato cake - fantastic. I was served with a soup like watercress sauce and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste! Washed down with the wine, it was the BIZ! Spoke to a very rude girl when booking who told me I couldn't use the voucher on a Sat. Checked and called her back and she told me she would book us a table in the bar area ( was a burger and drink deal). When we arrived there was no table booked and the manager told us they don't book tables for price your meal! Eventually got a table but it kind of spoiled the whole thing. Was told the girl who answered the phone was very busy when I called that is why she was rude!! Have had cocktails in Urban many a time but their service with this offer was disappointing . |
